As the saying goes: the style is the man. Good writing habits not only reflect a person's correct learning attitude, but also an important part of good learning habits. Therefore, in order to cultivate good learning habits of Grade 7 students, standardize their English writing and improve their English writing abilities, the English teaching and research group and the lesson preparation group of Grade 7 of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus held an English writing contest for students on the afternoon of March 10th in the joint classroom.
First of all, Yang Chun, the English teaching and research group leader, explained the significance of the competition to the students. Second of all, the competition rules were announced by  Zhang Mengmeng, the lesson preparation group leader of Grade 7. During the competition, students were enthusiastic and focused, and their handwriting was neat and correct. What’s more, this competition not only enriched students' campus cultural life, but also gave students a stage to fully showcase themselves, which further stimulated their interest in learning English and made each student realize the significance of standardized English writing and enjoy the happiness of English learning.
